Story can take you anywhere. Let you be anybody & help you beat the odds. It can give you a glimpse into a world you never knew & fill you with wonder.
All my life I've loved the power of story. Like the bards of old, I'm enthralled by the idea of being a storyteller. Right now I've got about four novels in the making, full of characters begging me to finish their adventures & wondering what lays on the next page of their stories. It's hard work. I admire those who are disciplined & get it done. Needless to say, I'm learning a lot about discipline right now. What I'm working on at the moment:
During the day, I also write for several online magazines. |

Published FictionToo Bright: and others stories inspired by The Dreamcatcher's Journal A collection of short stories, in the speculative genre and classic fairytales, inspired and captured from real dreams. This collection is the first time I've put my hand to indie publishing. I hope it entertains, inspires, and challenges you as you read the many tales and experience several worlds. Like A Woman Anthology What makes a woman who she is? Twenty-four authors from around the world give us their answer to this question ... Whether doing magic, defending the ones they love, fighting vampires or outsmarting foes, these women never back down. Find out what we think it means to be a woman My contribution, Brynn's Mission, is a sci-fi speculative short story. Fleeing the oppressive planet of Pax on a dying speeder, Brynn encounters a new group of travelers who come to her aid, but are they friend or foe & can she stop them from going back to the planet she just escaped? The Tall People & Other Collected Stories This collection contains everything from the mundane to the weird; the ordinary to the eerie. With 14 writers contributing to this volume, it will take you on a literary tour of the world unique to their experiences, their passions, and their imaginations. Whether it’s a lazy summer read or a quest for original inspiration, you’re bound to have a good time with The Tall People. My contribution, Rose, tells the story of a girl who's been abducted and her blood is used to make people fly. It was an unusual story for me to tell, but one which is full of hidden meaning. Glimpses of Light During 2015, the International Year of Light, twenty-one authors from Australia & the United States have come together to explore the theme of 'glimpses of light'—finding light in dark places—through short stories, poems, flash fiction & creative non-fiction. My contribution, The Last Blood Moon, is a dystopian speculative short story. Merillya is on the verge of adulthood. She's been given a unique gift which could change the world, but is Society ready to change? Is she? |

The Dreamcatcher's Journal
Every entry you read is a dream I’ve caught & stored here for the masses. Some were trickier to catch, but all worth the effort.
Each dream is unique & full of creative characters.
It's my subconscious' take on everything from Batman & Robin, to living on other planets, experiencing life or death situations & always trying to finish the adventure before the familiar buzz of an alarm calls me away.
Random Thoughts & Dreams
Random thoughts & dreams flutter around me on a daily basis. Sometimes I let them go, but sometimes those random moments turn into life lessons I want to share.
Other times, I write articles for an online magazine, Christian Today, & republish them here.
Still other times, I post a little melody of what's happening in my world as an author.
